And last year at the Furne One 10.10.10 show, One’s War and Roses Fashion Show in Manila, Philippines, I had an amazing experience to be at the front-row seat and experience his stunning collection come alive.

I feel privileged for the chance to have a photo op with Furne One himself with one of Philippines’ supermodel, Marina Benipayo. *glee with joy*

The latest news about Amato Couture is that two of today’s biggest pop stars have worn his creations — Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez! *amazing!*

Furne One

He is based in Dubai. And his haute couture label, Amato, caters exclusively to an elite Arab clientele. But the Filipino designer Furne One has become quite a celebrity in Germany and has featured in top German newspapers and fashion magazines.

A German TV channel is in Dubai filming the designer in his studio, while he prepares for his debut at the Berlin Fashion Week early next year.

And it is all thanks to the supermodel Heidi Klum. The fashion diva put the designer — and Dubai’s haute couture — on the international map when she selected him to design the gowns for all 18 models in the final round of her popular TV show‚ Germany’s Next Top Model

With his every creation, he not only displays his prowess as a fashion designer, but his bravery as a stylist, and formidable creative force as well. His shows are almost always visually dramatic. His signature glam-goth style is a design concept that fuses together high fashion, vintage frill, and gothic imagery.

His designs – dreamy, romantic, ethereal, surreal. No wonder why I am in love the moment I laid eyes on his creations (even just on pictures).

I am more than thrilled to be a part of Stylebible‘s lucky readers to watch One’s fashion show. It’s going to be a fun-filled day full of fireworks and magic before my eyes. I’m sure to ogle away through his gossamer masterpieces.

Hooray Thursday: Shoes

Shoes were known mainly as an item of footwear intended to protect and comfort the human foot while doing various activities. The design of shoes varies enormously through time and from culture to culture. The style also varies from different activities to different functions and purposes, from men’s oxford to women’s high-heels to unisex’s moccasin to athletics’ running shoes to ballet dancer’s shoes to nurses’ work shoes.

In fairy tales like Cinderella, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and The Red Shoes and especially in the fashion world, shoes just play an important and fabulous role.
