If I Was…

Post Content

Hello people! How was your Halloween? Hope it was super fun for all of you out there! I might have been MIA for a couple of days (and I still owe my Happy List for Sunday) but I’m back, sort of. I’ve been caught up with lots of work stuff and I wasn’t able to update you with random happy, pretty and inspiring stuff.

Well today, while I was browsing a very inspiring blog (esp for craft and handmade lovers), Sweet Jessie, I saw this little fun game and played it myself!

If I was…

If I was a month, I’d be November.
If I was a day of the week, I’d be Saturday.

If I was a time of day, I’d be brunch time.
If I was a planet, I’d be Venus.
If I was a sea animal, I’d be a penguin.
If I was a direction, I’d be northwest.
If I was a piece of furniture, I’d be a lazy boy.

If I was a liquid, I’m best served cold on the rocks.
If I was a gemstone, I’d be topaz.
If I was a tree, I’d be a pine tree.

If I was a tool, I’d be a Swiss knife.
If I was a flower, I’d be a cherry blossom.
If I was a kind of weather, I’d be warm and sunny.
If I was a musical instrument, I’d be a piano.
If I was a color, I’d be pale pink.

If I was an emotion, I’d be all about love.
If I was a fruit, I’d be a mango.
If I was a sound, I’d be beating to the sound of your heart.
If I was an element, I’d be fire.
If I was a car, I’d be a red vintage convertible.

If I was a food, I’d be deliciously spicy.
If I was a place, I’d be a fine-looking white sand beach.
If I was a material, I’d be a doily.
If I was a taste, I’d be sweet and salty.
If I was a scent, I’d be the smell of fresh linens or your mother’s cooking.

That was fun! Haha. Want to play, too?  Go ahead, you’re it!

I hope to be back on my regular blogging schedule very soon, ‘til then stretch your faces and give us some pretty smile!

Hooray Thursday: Trick or Treats

Post Content

Halloween-Cakes-Bat-CakeHello folks! Halloween is just around the corner and though costume options are still wrestling in my head (hello Hamburglar and Mary Poppins!), I know for sure that more I ever wanted from this well-loved season are some sweet treats more than tricks. I’ve always had this fascination with baked goodies and always have wanted to make and bake a few myself. And although time and resources (not to mention my fear to bake another stone cupcake) act as a hindrance, I won’t let this season pass without sharing with you these spooky-licious treats!

Halloween-Cakes-CupcakesAren’t they all wickedly gorgeous?! Hope this Halloween baked-goodies inspiration board push you to give in to your urge to bake something spine-chillingly good!

awarding ceremonies

Nuffnang and Goldilocks ‘Pagbabago’ contest came to a conclusion last Friday when they held the awarding ceremonies at their newest branch in Shaw Blvd., few blocks away from my office. We were invited because I submitted my entry regarding one of the personal changes in my life.

Guests were delighted to receive a DYC kits (Decorate Your Cake) which encourages creativity to come out and play! We never wasted time and started on our yummy art pieces.

That’s me working on my art piece!

You guessed it right! That’s B’s star-ship cake. Nom nom.
