KKK Food Revolution

Post Content

One restaurant in SM Cubao caught our attention when we were in search for new eats to try.

KKK has an indigenous interiors that makes an interesting ambiance.

I learned that it is a Kapampangan restaurant with a twist of Thai. Very interesting concept to incorporate two of my favorite cuisine.

Potato and Onion Torta served with Longganisa Rice

Post Content

The past week have been crazy busy for me so apologies for not being able to update the blog for merely a week. Eeek!! I hope you all had a wonderful wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty interesting because I went on a thrifting date with my B. I will share our precious finds on the following entries. *wink*

For now, let me share one or let’s say two recipes I cooked for my B during a workday. It’s quick, simple and I’d say it’s pretty delicious, too! I used the recipe here and amended to serve just two persons.

{ white onion, peeled, halved, and sliced into slivers }

{ potatoes, peeled, boiled, and sliced roughly }

{ fresh eggs, beaten }

Chefs’ Quarter: Fine dining on a budget?

Post Content

August 20, 2010

Two veterans in the food business have decided there is no reason why fine dining should be the privilege of a select few.

Larry Cortez and chef Mauro Arjona Jr., pioneers of Le Soufflé, who worked with Billy King to setup Voulez Vous now French Corner in Alabang, and the pair behind Duo at Serendra that draws the likes of the Madame, Imelda Romualdez Marcos, found the right spot for their “total innovation of fine-dining cuisine”- Chefs’ Quarter.

Another food discovery in SM Megamall Atrium is Chefs’ Quarter which we’ve been eying for some time now. We dig the concept of having the elegance of fine dining within a mall.

A mainstay on the menu and definitely an attention-grabber named after the Imeldific’s occasional alter ego. And my B always just got to try the best-seller. *wink*
