My (more than) Top 5 Occasions That Call for Food Delivery

Post Content

Food has always been a special part of my childhood, adulthood, now preggy-hood — that’s basically my whole life existence. Growing up at home with my family, preparing food seemed like a breeze because mom was always there to cook it for you. Ever since I started living independently, I managed to 1) learn few dishes I now call my “signature” dishes and 2) learn to cook for two.

With a hectic and active lifestyle as a pregnant career woman and work-at-home-mom (to be), it’s not always an enticing idea to do grocery or market-shopping much more so to cook. That’s when food delivery comes in as heaven-sent!

Here are my top 8 occasions that call for food delivery:

Diary Entry | 8 October 2015

First time I unintentionally skipped my milk and prenatal vitamins. I ran out of stock and we were on a whole day meeting. Hope baby’s still ok for missing his needs for a day. #ALittleWorried

my mood:

My mood is generally bearable. Nothing out of the ordinary. I can say this week was light on me, on us, which is a breath of fresh air.

my symptoms:

Tender breasts. I hope this means I can produce tons of milk when baby’s out!

Numbness / tingling. Becoming a common symptom especially in the morning.

Leg cramps. This annoying symptom is becoming a regular every morning. One time my subconscious even know that I will feel the cramps so I immediately know what to do even if I just woke up.

Backaches. Sometimes I cannot bear the pain but in a few weeks time I know it will all be worth it.

Swelling. Elevating feet really helps.

Braxton Hicks Contractions. I was a little worried at first, but I’m learning to ride the “wave”.

Shortness of breath.

Dizziness. Very minimal, maybe because of the hot weather.

Babies are bits of star-dust blown from the hand of God. Lucky is the woman who knows the pangs of birth for she has held a star. – Larry Barretto

While being pregnant can oftentimes be an uncomfortable experience, there are moments when it feels so magical and thrilling that I never want it to end. I know one thing is for certain — there’s no other experience in life like it. This whole nine months of pregnancy will change my life, for the better, I’m sure.

To celebrate the joys and beauty of pregnancy, my B and I planned to do our own maternity boudoir photography.
