Mishka Shoes

I have always loved shoes — boots, wedges, gladiators, mules, sling backs, chunky heels, stilettos, kitten heels, platform, peep toe, pumps. Name it and I probably do have it in my shoe closet.

One of my favorites though would have to be the ballerina flats. It can take me from day — while prepping up on my events work either as an events host or coordinator, to night — while having coffee with friends or dinner with family.

Hello March and hello everyone! I’m happy to be writing again. I’m greeting all of you and the first quarter of 2015 with superb positive energy and good karma!

To break in the silence in this little corner, I decided to ask my B to join me in documenting “ourselves”, who we are and what we feel on a per month basis with this cute form with a twist.

Here it goes, my If I Were – February Edition

If I were a month, I’d be November — solemn yet festive.
If I were a day of the week, I’d be Sunday — cool and relaxing.
If I were a time of day, I’d be brunch time — breakfast in the late morning? Yes please.

If I were a planet, I’d be Venus — named after Roman goddess of love and beauty, second brightest in the night sky after the moon.
If I were a sea animal, I’d be a swan — symbol of beauty, grace, power and fidelity.
If I were a direction, I’d be South — home is where your heart is.
If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be a daybed — best for lounging, day or night.

If I were a liquid, I’m best served cold on the rocks — esp this summertime.
If I were a gemstone, I’d be diamond — unbreakable and will always remind me of “Bella”.
If I were a tree, I’d be a pine tree.

If I were a tool, I’d be a Swiss knife.
If I were a flower, I’d be a bougainvillea.
If I were a kind of weather, I’d be warm and sunny.
If I were a musical instrument, I’d be a guitar.
If I were a color, I’d be pale pink.

If I were an emotion, I’d be all about love.
If I were a fruit, I’d be a pineapple — can be tangy yet sweet.
If I were a sound, I’d be a beat of your heart.
If I were an element, I’d be fire.
If I were a vehicle, I’d be a red vintage convertible.

If I were a food, I’d be deliciously spicy.
If I were a place, I’d be a fine-looking white sand beach.
If I were a material, I’d be a doily.
If I were a taste, I’d be sweet and spicy.
If I were a scent, I’d be the smell of your favorite memory.

There you have it!! Re-reading my entry last 2010 was a fun way to remember how I felt before, and answering it in my state now and doing it as a fun couple’s activity is amusing.

Gourmet Fair

We chanced upon a gourmet food fair at Gateway Activity Area and wandered around the area to see what will pique our interest. There’s a lot actually — like this flavored chocolates with personalized wrappers. I think it’s the perfect giveaway to any party.

But what excites me with these kinds of food fair is the chance to discover local food and desserts shop. In the end, we decided to take home MedChef‘s revel bar (3pcs for Php100). #supportlocal
