It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages. ~Friedrich Nietzsche

Us, too, have relationship goals. This 2018, B and I both agreed that our relationship and marriage is one of the aspects in our lives that we’d love to nourish and work on. Marriage is such an integral part of our family, and a healthy happy marriage we have can only mean happy and healthy family life for us and our little one, baby Bryce.

One resolution we agreed on is to intentionally set a date once or twice a month to do meaningful stuff. Each of us will have our turn to plan the “date”. It could be to discover new places, to discover new eats, or to spend time doing activities that will re-acquaint us and make us even more closer.

Do you also make relationships resolution? I’d love to hear how you nourish your marriage and relationships.

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. ~Mignon McLaughlin

The secret of a happy marriage is finding the right person. You know they’re right if you love to be with them all the time. ~Julia Child

Happy is the man who finds a true friend, and far happier is he who finds that true friend in his wife. ~Franz Schubert

A good husband makes a good wife. ~John Florio

A happy wife is a happy life.

A thousand times I’ve seen you standing
    Gravity like lunar landing
You make me wanna run till I find you
I shut the world away from here
I drift to you, you’re all I hear
As everything we know fades to black
