Babies are bits of star-dust blown from the hand of God. Lucky is the woman who knows the pangs of birth for she has held a star. – Larry Barretto

While being pregnant can oftentimes be an uncomfortable experience, there are moments when it feels so magical and thrilling that I never want it to end. I know one thing is for certain — there’s no other experience in life like it. This whole nine months of pregnancy will change my life, for the better, I’m sure.

To celebrate the joys and beauty of pregnancy, my B and I planned to do our own maternity boudoir photography.

“A mother does not become pregnant in order to provide employment to medical people. Giving birth is an ecstatic jubilant adventure not available to males. It is a woman’s crowning creative experience of a lifetime.” – John Stevenson

  1. I find this a very great idea. I’m a little conservative, though, so I guess I’ll be wearing more clothes here. 😉

    1. Hello Gillian! HAHA I know what you mean. Yes, the fun thing about photo shoots is that you can decide what style theme you are going to have. In our case, it was kind of impromptu so I just grabbed my bridal veil and used it as my “outfit”. 😀

  4. Nice Photoshoot! I also diy my maternity photoshoot with the help of my twin sister in my room but I’m only 22 weeks preg that time. (Feb 2015) Really want that kind of theme however I don’t have a veil and ayaw ni twin. So we used our window and more on natural light instead. Hope you have a safe delivery! Take care!
